More than 5,000 people have trained under Soke Hausel and his instructors. Seiyo No Shorin-Ryu Karate Kobudo Kai is a growing ‘traditional’ martial arts association and seeks legitimate Sensei and individual members for our association. If you are a Sensei of your own Shorin-Ryu Karate Dojo (or Shorin-Ryu derivative, i.e., Okinawan Kempo, Goju, Suri-Te, Shotokan, Wado-Ryu, Kokushinkai, Isshin-Ryu, Shinto-Ryu), or just an individual, feel free to apply for membership to our association. If accepted, you will receive a membership card, patch and window decal and be eligible to train at our schools. We try to eliminate politics but appreciate those who are interested in learning more about our art.

Seiyo No Shorin-Ryu Karate Kobudo Kai is a traditional (non-sport) martial art that focuses on power, kata (forms), bunkai (applications) and kobudo (martial arts weapons).
